Desi Arnaz & Lucille Ball Signed Contract Display – COA JSA

Presented is a Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball contract with their joint company Desilu dated, August 5, 1952. The one page contract was signed by in black pen (“7-8”) by both actors on the signature line. Presumably, the last page of the agreement was the one that was signed. The other (4) pages of the contract are also included.  The contract page was matted with a signed black and white studio photo of the couple on television and real life. Arnaz signed the photo in silver felt tip (“9″). The display measures 17″ x 27”.

I Love Lucy is a show that starred Lucille Ball, her husband, Desi Arnaz, along with Vivian Vance and William Frawley. The series followed the life of Lucy Ricardo (Ball), a young, middle-class housewife living in New York City, who often concocted plans with her best friends and landlords, Ethel and Fred Mertz (Vance and Frawley), to appear alongside her bandleader husband, Ricky Ricardo (Arnaz), in his nightclub. Lucy is depicted trying numerous schemes to mingle with and be a part of show business.
