Michael Spinks Lot -Worn in the Ring and Training Futch Collection
This collection originates from the family of Eddie Futch. Futch was a legend among legends in the field of boxing. He started his tutelage in the gym alongside Joe Louis and often sparred with him back in the 1930s. Futch’s career was short-lived on the professional level in the ring as a heart murmur prevented him from achieving the dream for himself.
However, it did not prevent him from doing the training with the highest level of athletes he could get his hands on. He trained them to compete at their very best. In fact, some say he was the best.
The Hall of Fame trainer worked with champions like Joe Frazier, Larry Holmes, Riddick Bowe, Michael Spinks, Alexis Arguello, Marlon Starling, Wayne McCullough , Montell Griffin, and his first world champion fighter, Don Jordan, who was crowned world welterweight champion in 1958. A family letter/estate letter will be included for authentication..
