Zakk Wylde Signed Guitar Samick Greg Bennett Cobra – COA JSA

Presented is Samick Greg Bennett Cobra electric black and red guitar autographed by Zakk Wyld. Superbly autographed in silver paint pen (“9”) on the body by Wylde with a guitar drawing and inscription, “2018 SDMF”. The guitar itself shows typical handling/storage wear including scuffs, scrapes from the Hard Rock.

This guitar originated from a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino employee who worked with talented musicians that came to the venue to perform. In the process of all the back stage antics (the partying, the moving and jostling, just dealing with rock stars), many of the guitars have battle wounds including scuffs, scrapes (etc.) and may have been played.

The consigner also worked with the curator of the historic memorabilia laden casino who had the access to many celebrities and musicians (and their memorabilia of course). As a collector, it was truly the place to be as it allowed his treasure trove to be amplified. He is now ready to bring some of those treasures to market. Take notice, in the process of obtaining autographs of the musicians he had them sign the body of a guitar which is more rare than the placed pick guard ones that are often brought to market. As a musician himself, he also made sure that the guitars in his collection were oftentimes elite models like this one.

Samick Greg Bennett (COBRA CA2) is a blend of traditional balance with some radical contours and body sculpting. The result is a unique appearance in a great feeling guitar. The thin mahogany body, combined with the set neck, Duncan design pick ups produces a huge sound with enough low-mids to fill any arena. 

Zakk Wylde is best known as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and as the founder, lead guitarist, lead singer, songwriter and producer of the heavy metal band Black Label Society. His signature bulls-eye design appears on many of his guitars and is widely recognized. He was also the lead guitarist and vocalist of Pride & Glory, who released one self-titled album in 1994 before disbanding. As a solo artist, he released the albums Book of Shadows and Book of Shadows II. Wylde joined the reunited Pantera in 2022 as a touring guitarist.
