Offered for sale is a very rare The Pride of the Yankees (RKO, R-1949). One Sheet (27″ X 41″).
It’s always good to get the original release poster for any great film, but with some titles, the re-release images are even better. This is one of those titles. This one-sheet poster features a full-length image of Babe Ruth swinging his bat, an image that doesn’t appear in the original. The top border of the poster is affixed to the poster board which can be removed professionally to preserve this in its original state. The top right border has the piece detached from the poster but it can be re-attached professionally. The poster has minor wear and folded in sixths. This is a very rare poster.
