Rob Thomas is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist best known for being the lead singer of the rock band Matchbox Twenty. Thomas also records and performs as a solo artist, with “Lonely No More” released in 2005 becoming his biggest chart success as lead solo artist. Thomas received three Grammy Awards for co-writing and singing on the 1999 hit “Smooth” by Santana, which was also his first song as a featured solo artist.

The Great Unknown Tour is the fourth concert tour by American recording artist, Rob Thomas. Beginning June 2015, the tour will support his third studio album, The Great Unknown. The tour will predominantly perform in the United States and Canada, with performances in theaters and amphitheaters. Thomas will also perform at music festivals during the summer.
