The Meadowlark Lemon collection serves to support his non-profit organization, reflecting the legacy of an extraordinary athlete and entertainer. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 as a contributor, Lemon’s influence extended beyond the court, making him one of the most celebrated figures associated with the Harlem Globetrotters. In recognition of his significant contributions to the sport, he was awarded the prestigious John Bunn Award in 2000, and in 2001, the Globetrotters honored him further by presenting him with a Legends Ring and retiring his jersey, number 36.
