Presented is a 1984 East vs. West Shrine Bowl game issued Lomas Brown football jersey. The jersey was issued for Lomas for playing in the game. This jersey has a collar tag was produced by Russell Athletic and is a [size] L.  The jersey has East West across the front with the numbers. His number “16″ is on the front/back in white/blue (screened on). His name “BROWN” also screened on is showcased across the back nameplate in white.  The right sleeve has the Senior Bowl logo. The jersey does not show wear but has some fading on the blue part of the identifiers.

The East–West Shrine Bowl is a postseason college football all-star game that has been played annually since 1925; through January 2019, it was known as the East–West Shrine Game. The game is sponsored by the fraternal group Shriners International, and the net proceeds are earmarked to some of the Shrine’s charitable works, most notably the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The game’s slogan is “Strong Legs Run That Weak Legs May Walk.”

In 1984, Joey Jones of Alabama scored touchdowns on a diving catch of a 45-yard pass and a 7-yard run off a reverse, leading the East to a 27-19 victory today in the 59th Shrine East-West game.

Lomas Brown is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons in the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s. Brown played college football for the Florida Gators, receiving consensus All-American honors. A first-round pick in the 1985 NFL draft, he played professionally for the Detroit Lions and four other NFL teams. He is currently a color analyst for Lions radio broadcasts on WXYT 97.1 The Ticket, as well as a commentator and analyst for ESPN and other television and radio networks.
