Jonathan Davis & Rob Zombie Signed Guitar Ibanez RG Series Custom Design – COA JSA

Presented is black Ibanez RG Series electric guitar autographed by Jonathan Davis and Rob Zombie. Superbly autographed in silver paint pen (“8”) on the body by both Davis and Zombie. The guitar itself features a custom “The Hardest Show on Earth” skull design and shows moderate handling/storage wear from the Hard Rock.

This guitar originated from a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino employee who worked with talented musicians that came to the venue to perform. In the process of all the back stage antics (the partying, the moving and jostling, just dealing with rock stars), many of the guitars have battle wounds including scuffs, scrapes (etc.) and may have been played.

The consigner also worked with the curator of the historic memorabilia laden casino who had the access to many celebrities and musicians (and their memorabilia of course). As a collector, it was truly the place to be as it allowed his treasure trove to be amplified. He is now ready to bring some of those treasures to market. Take notice, in the process of obtaining autographs of the musicians he had them sign the body of a guitar which is more rare than the placed pick guard ones that are often brought to market. As a musician himself, he also made sure that the guitars in his collection were oftentimes elite models like this one.

Rob Zombie initially rose to fame as a founding member and the frontman of heavy metal band White Zombie, with whom he released four albums. His first solo effort, the 1996 song “Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn)”, was written and performed with Alice Cooper and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. His debut solo studio album, Hellbilly Deluxe, was released in 1998; White Zombie disbanded a month later.

Jonathan Davis is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is the lead vocalist and frontman of nu metal band Korn, which is considered a pioneering act of the nu metal genre. Davis’s distinctive personality and Korn’s music influenced a generation of musicians and performers who have come after them.

The Ibanez RG is a series of electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki. The first model in the series, the RG550, was originally released in 1987 and advertised as part of the Roadstar series. That series was renamed “RG” in 1992 and all models since are simply known as RGs.
