Jason Heyward enjoyed five productive seasons with the Atlanta Braves, a franchise that used the 14th overall pick on the outfielder in the 2007 draft. Heyward soon became one of the top-rated prospects in all of baseball for batting, speed, and defense, and debuted in MLB as Atlanta’s starting right fielder on Opening Day 2010. He was later traded following his 2014 campaign. His new team, the St. Louis Cardinals, like coveted Heyward’s combination of power and speed.
