James Dean Signed Check – COA JSA & PSA/DNA

Presented is an original check, dated 9/14/1954, and made out to, “Cash” by James Dean to himself in the amount of $30.00. Stamped on the verso with cancellation, check measures  2.75″ x 6.25″. The check was encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA.

In March 1954, Dean was still a struggling actor in New York, studying at the Actors Studio under Lee Strasberg and working in television, unaware that later that year, he would be cast in East of Eden, the role that would launch his meteoric rise to fame.
