Presented is a Jack Benny, Phil Harris and Eddie Rochester Anderson signed piece of parchment paper. The trio were part of the Jack Benny Program. All of their signatures are in blue steel tip fountain pen on the 5.5″ x 6.5″ parchment and grade a “9”. Note, it was also personalized “To Roy”. The inscription was penned in the hand of Jack Benny. Note, there’s a slight tear on the upper border that does not encroach the autogpraphs.

The Jack Benny Program was shot in Hollywood at Desilu Studios with an audience brought in to watch the finished film for live responses. Benny’s opening and closing monologues were filmed in front of a live audience. However, from the late 1950s until the last season on NBC, a laugh track was utilized to augment audience responses.

This item originates from the Roy Moseley collection. Moseley was one of the leaders in show business journalism in England. He wrote many books that appeared on the New York Time’s Best Seller List. Being an author in high regard had its perks, as he was closely connected to royalty and celebrities. Hence his notable work, “My Stars and Other Friends” provides a glimpse into the lifestyle us everyday people dream about. During his career, Moseley brilliantly gathered in person some of the finest autographs in the world. Some were personalized to him as a testament to their respect and kinship. Every celebrity has a story as well as every autograph Moseley obtained. Here now is one of those legacy pieces for your collection.
