Ginger Rogers (Virginia Katherine McMath” 1911-1995) was  much loved by filmgoers, historians, her peers and executives in the industry, appearing in over 80 films and dozens of TV shows and specials in a career that ran over 60 years.

This substantial assortment contains 25 different handwritten and signed items from Rogers; 23 different letter 16 and postcards 7 sent to a woman named Violet Ruden (Rogers often refers to Ruden as my sister” in these communications; all were written from 1967- 1973; all are signed “Ginger” except one that is signed Virginia,” and three of the 16 envelopes have either “G.R” or “G.R.M”as part of the back address-average signatures grade of “9” a signed “Playbill” magazine for Rogers ‘ 1965 appearance in “hello Dolly” (moistened affected signature across the top that reads ” to Violet love Ginger Rogers” still very legible grading “7”), and (the best piece) a fully signed presentation copy of  “50 Golden ears of Oscar-the Official History of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science” (1977) signed Ginger Rogers  on presentation page, with personalized messages; slight moisture effects to the xxx” at the end of message and a few others final letters all still legible and blue ink signature completley untouched grading “9” Five photos of the still lovely star from this same period are also included all unsigned.
