Chubby Checker is featured on this signed & inscribed 94 on a rare baseball. For those who do not recall Chubby Checker, he invented the 1960s dance craze called the twist. Chubby Check whose real name is Ernest Evans developed the dance while listening to the radio while drying himself after a shower. His stage name was modeled after his idol Fats Dominoe. The twist first swept the nation during the summer of 1960 and again the following summer with Checker’s record “Let’s Twist Again (Like We Did Last Summer).” Even today, 45 years later, the Twist remains a popular dance number. This was signed at the showboat in Casino Las Vegas in 1994
