Presented is a white jersey that was worn by former University of Florida Gators player, Brian Crum. On the front, back, and each shoulder is the player number “13” screened on in blue and orange. The Gator patch logo is present on the chest, sides are Spandex and the custom elastic sleeves are striped in team colors orange and white. Across the back is his name “CRUM” in blue on a nameplate. The collar tagging shows it is a NIKE [size] 46 with 03 handwritten in black felt tip. An A. Ross memorial patch (for Eraste Autin) adorns one of the sleeves. This one also features a 2004 Chick-fil-a Peach Powl patch sewn on. The SEC patch is set in the center collar portion. Overall, the jersey shows great wear with sweat stains, field marks etc. Overall, a great Gators gamer.
The 2004 Peach Bowl featured the Florida Gators and the Miami Hurricanes. Miami took a 7–0 lead when it blocked a Florida field goal attempt, and Devin Hester returned the ball 78 yards for a touchdown. In the second quarter, Matt Leach kicked a 34-yard field goal to make it 10–3. Roscoe Parrish scored on a 72-yard punt return, giving Miami a 17–3 lead at halftime, even though it didn’t score an offensive touchdown. In the third quarter, Brock Berlin threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Moore, and the Hurricanes led 24–3. Florida’s Chris Leak threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Jemalle Cornelius as the Gators got within 24–10. A 32-yard field goal from Miami gave the Hurricanes the 27–10 win.
Brian Crum in 2004 saw action in five games (Eastern Michigan, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Florida State and Miami). Thirty-six of his 38 plays came on the kickoff coverage and return teams, as well as the punt coverage team. Injury forced him to miss the Tennessee, Arkansas, LSU, Middle Tennessee State, MSU and Georgia games…Played in a season-high 11 plays in the season opener against Eastern Michigan. Matched a season-high 11 plays and recorded one tackle against Florida State. Saw action in two plays at tight end versus Eastern Michigan. Made first road trip of the season to Vanderbilt. He moved from tight end to linebacker in practices leading up to the 2003 Outback Bowl…Moved back to tight end prior to 2004 season before returning to linebacker in the spring of 2005. Played in 37 career games, with 11 starts.
