2015-16 Wesley Johnson Game-Worn Jersey Clippers Playoffs Game 1 – COA MeiGray Group

Presented is a game worn Wesley Johnson Los Angeles Clippers jerseys from the 2015-16 season. The highlight is that it is from Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Quarterfinal Playoff game (April 17. 2016 at Staples Center) against the Portland Trailblazers. In the victory, Johnson played 9 minutes with 3 points, 2 rebounds and a blocked shot.

On the chest is the Clippers team logo patch in black with red and blue accents. Below is his number “33” done in red mesh on blue tackle twill.  On the front left tail is the Adidas manufacturer’s tag size “XL”. Attached is a flag tag reading “LENGTH +2””. Adjacent to the left is an “NBA AUTHENTICS” tag with serial number “LCL02901”.  Across the back reads the player name “JOHNSON” done in red tackle twill sewn directly into the white mesh jersey. Wesley Johnson is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is a player development assistant for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Syracuse University and Iowa State University. He was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

During the 2015-16 Los Angeles Clippers season, they played most of the season without Blake Griffin, who broke his hand in a fight and was subsequently suspended for 4 games. He returned on April 3 after sitting out 45 games. The Clippers entered the playoffs against the 5th-seeded 44–38 Portland Trail Blazers who were 9 games behind them. However, injuries robbed the team and that was their undoing as they were eliminated in the first round in six games by the Trail Blazers for the first time since 2013, when the team was eliminated by the Memphis Grizzlies.
