Presented is a Cincinnati Bengals helmet that was game worn by Carson Palmer, the quarterback in 2010. It is a “SCHUTT” manufactured “AIR ADVANTAGE” helmet. In the interior, below the left ear hole are two decals reading size “LARGE”. Adjacent around the ear hole are numerous “NOCSAE” recertification stickers for 2006, 2008 and 2010. Then, to the back of each ear hole is a circular piece of velcro. Above each are “WARNING” decals. It features a “SCHUTT” manufactured black facemask with code “CAJ” and a white chinstrap attached. The white rubber bumper features the Bengals “B” logo in black and orange, the two “SCHUTT” facemask clips both read “1 10”.

On the back of the helmet is a NFL shield decal, American flag decal, warning sticker, Palmer’s number “9” in black and above it is the green “NFL” sticker (signifying microphone capabilities). The helmet is properly labeled, and shows excellent use with scuffing and numerous transfer marks throughtout. The helmet went through extensive photo matching from Sports Investors Authentication. Provided are the photos that shows marks on the stripes and on the orange portion.

Carson Palmer was selected by the Bengals first overall in the 2003 NFL draft, and played eight seasons with the team. During his tenure in Cincinnati, he helped lead the team to its first winning season and playoff appearance in 15 years and was named to two Pro Bowls. Amid declining success and conflicts with Bengals ownership, Palmer was traded to the Oakland Raiders, where he played two seasons before joining Arizona.

During the 2010 Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, Palmer completed 2 out of 5 passes for 18 yards, both to wide receiver Terrell Owens. Palmer and the Bengals started out the 2010 campaign with a 2–1 record, but faltered after that, going on a 10-game losing streak to finish out the season with a 4–12 record. Statistically, Carson improved from the previous year as his attempts, completion percentage, yardage and touchdown numbers all rose (although he did throw more interceptions as well).
