Terry Furlow was selected by the Phiadelphia 76ers with the 12th overall pick in the 1976 NBA Draft; he was also selected in the sixth round of the 1975 ABA draft by the Memphis Sounds. In 1977, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he averaged 11 points in one-and-a-half seasons with the team. In 1979, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks for point guard Butch Lee, and midway through the 1979-80 season, he was traded to the Utah Jazz, where he averaged a carer-best 16 points per game. On May 23, 1980, Furlow was killed in a car accident when he crashed into a pole on Interstate 71 in Linndale, Ohio.

Presented is Terry Furlow game-worn purple mesh jersey from the Utah Jazz. He only played one season (1979-80) with the Utah Jazz before he died. It originates directly from a team-source and epitomizes pro-basketball style in the late ’70’s early 1980s.

The jersey sports the green/yellow knit arm seams, and collar.  The JAZZ logo sports the front of the jersey. He played for the Jazz 1979-80. the jersey is intricately tied to the New Orleans  & Utah Jazz team right before they moved to Utah.

The front features the Jazz logo and jersey #25 screened on. To highlight the team’s colors, green and yellow ribbing is around the arms and neck openings. His name is sewn on the back “FURLOW” in single-twill white. The only tagging is by the manufacturer Champion [size] M and is well-worn along the inside bottom tail. Overall, it shows tremendous wear.

Based on the jersey provenance,  from former owner of the Utah Jazz, the jersey is game-used.  The Champion tagging is correct as there was a change from Sand Knit To Champion.
