The Babe’s final public appearance came just three weeks before his August 1948 passing when he attended the premier of the film version of his biography, “The Babe Ruth Story.” Starring William Bendix, Claire Trevor, Charles Bickford, Sam Levene, William Frawley, Gertrude Niesen, Mel Allen, Harry Wismer, Knox Manning, and Eddie Dunn, “The Babe Ruth Story” was a big deal. Offered is a 41×27″ one-sheet poster promoting the film. It is in collectible condition with minor tears, and wear, a small piece missing at the bottom of the poster, plus minor water marks at the bottom. You rarely see these offered for sale.
