Presented is a rare 1938 American Association All Star Game Program which was the 5th Annual AAA All Star Game. The game was held at Perry Stadium on July 14 and pitted the American Association All-Stars versus the Indianapolis Indians baseball team. The highlight of the game was that a 19 year player from the Minneapolis Millers named Ted Williams played. At the time he was the youngest player on the team. He was was the main attraction on his way to a .366 batting average along with 43 home runs with the AA Minneapolis Millers in his final season before moving up to Boston and beginning his legendary career in 1939. The program is 32 pages and in VG condition with pencil marks and visible wear via a central crease (from folding in half) but is entirely intact. Overall, it’s an exceptional program of Ted Williams’ final minor league season when he was still a teenager bursting with promise.
