WSB Athlete Fight-Worn Boxing Robe w/Hood

Presented is a WSB fight worn boxing robe that is a vest style with a hood. It is red, white and blue satin style and features a terrific Uncle Sam knockout team logo on the left chest. It was made by Sting and is a [size] XL (red logo on left chest).  WSB logo on the right bottom and back features Sting branding and USA.  The hoodie is blue and white with stars and big red USA letters on the back of the robe which is absolutely astonishing.

This item was obtained by Edward Weichers in Miami, FL 2015 after a USA World Series of Boxing (WSB) competition.

This item originates from the Edward Weichers collection. He was the head boxing coach at the United States Air Force Academy from 1976-2014. He led the Academy’s boxing team to 19 national collegiate boxing championships, making it the most successful collegiate program in the United States (the second most successful program has only 6 national championships as of April 2014 in comparison).  He was selected to coach the Australian Olympic Boxing team, which competed in the 1984 games in Los Angeles. He also served as trainer and coach for Australia’s professional world champions, Jeff Fenech and Jeff Harding. He was also the Head Coach USA World Series of Boxing in 2015 and served as president and vice-president of the (NCBA).
