For sale is a W515-2 1923 Casey Stengel #24 Baseball strip Card, which is the only graded PSA 7.5, the highest graded card, with a POP 1. Hand-Cut Spectacular Eye Appeal! Originally printed on a dozen different strips of 5 cards for a complete set of 60, the strips had faint lines to indicate where to cut the cards into singles. This was not often done with a great deal of care, and the low-quality card stock made things worse, resulting in 100 years later, there are very few cards in high grades. Also, due to the spacing between cards, it was virtually impossible to cut all five singles from a strip in a width that would pass the stringent size requirements of today’s professional grading companies.
