Vintage St. Louis Cardinals Game Hat

Presented is a vintage 1950’s St. Louis Cardinals hat. This is the same style that the players wore in that era with a red brim, and navy felt top. This cap, other than the exterior identifiers (“SL” logo)  has no branding or tags (size) in the interior. Great wear is shown on the cap with heavy use including the cracked leather band, sweat stains etc. A “6” is written under the bill in thick black felt tip most likely added on after the era in black marker. The hat is unattributed to any specific player including Stan Musial.
