The cover was signed by (6) members in blue felt tip including: Don Felder; Bernie Leadon; J.D. Souther; Glenn Frey; Randy Meisner and Deacon Frey. The personalization, “To Ed” was written by Felder. The original record is included.
This album was originally released on February 17, 1976, by Asylum Records. The album cover features an eagle’s skull, created by artist Boyd Elder. The skull was cast from plastic, painted, and placed on a blue Mylar background. Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) was the best-selling album of the 20th century in the United States. The album includes a selection of songs from the Eagles’ first four albums, released between their formation in 1971 and 1975.
