This is the 473 lithograph in the Decathlon Sports Prints Series signed by iconic Hall of Famer Ted Williams and artist C. [Cliff] Spohn; a full-color, tri-image portrait , commemorating Williams’s 473d of his 521 career home runs.

This 18” x 24” print depicts the great Boston Red Sox hitter in two at-bat positions overlapped by a close-up portrait, and is signed “Ted Williams” in black ink. Informational inscriptions filling in the season’s home run number “473”, date is was hit “7-29-58”, the opponent “Detroit” and park “Briggs Stadium” all performed in Williams” own hand.
