Ted Williams meant so much to New England and his foundation continues his legacy of charitable giving. One of his priorities was the Boys Club. This was his personal rocking chair that was at the Boys Club camp according to the owner who purchased it.  Every time he came to the Boy’s Club, which was often, he sat in this chair. This is also the chair he would sit and read books to the kids.  This was Ted William’s favorite chair. Sitting in it, you will know why.  It is the most delightful conversation piece.

It is custom with a small plaque inlayed in the top portion with the dedication, “The Ted Williams Chair – Early Sixties”. The chair is 3′ (feet) tall with a 22″ arm extension. The overall condition is nice with only minor flaws to the seat cushion portion.  This chair came from a collection that also included many of the children’s t-shirts, caps and other paraphanalia from the club.  It was obtained by a large donation to the Boy’s club. Without question, this is the chair that was used by Ted Williams.

The chair itself is made by Steickley, which is a fantastic maker of rocking chairs.  The quality is impeccable.
