Marty Marion played for the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Browns between 1940 and 1953. He later became the manager of the Chicago White Sox.

Presented is an ONL (White) baseball autographed by Marty Marion. He signed it on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) with the inscription, “M.V.P. 1944”. The ball itself shows toning from age with handwritten numerical coding.
