Governors of Missouri Lot – Signed FDCs & Letters etc. – Feat. Joseph Teasdale, John Ashcroft & Christopher Bond

Presented is a five piece grouping relating to Governors of Missouri. The majority of the lot consists of First Day Covers or FDCs for short. There is a typed letter on state letterhead (TLS) from Ashcroft in this collection. Most groupings also include original correspondence envelopes. This lot includes:

1) FDC feat. Midwest Centenary Kansas City signed by Joseph Teasdale and an additional mailing envelope.

2) FDC feat. 150^th Anniversary of Missouri – signed by John Ashcroft. Also includes a typed signed letter by Ashcroft.

3) FDC feat. Midwest Centenary Kansas City – signed by Christopher Bond.

4) FDC feat. Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn – signed by Christopher Bond.

5) FDC feat. 100^th Kansas City, Missouri – signed by Kit Bond.

*This grouping originates from a large political collection. The consigner collected numerous first day covers, photos and mailings from both the state and federal government. The collection was too large and costly to authenticate. Some of the autographs in this collection appear to be hand signed however any or all could be stamped, auto-penned or secretarial (most likely the Bond ones are) because of the nature of gathering (via mailing).  Overall, some of the FDCs may have some slight lightening (from age/storage/mailing) but all average about an “8”.
