He was best known for his number-one country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. Much of his output, including all but one of his eight Billboard Hot 100 charting singles, was credited to the Charlie Daniels Band.

Presented is a gold fiddle signed by Charlie Daniels in a custom display. The fiddle is beautifully autographed in black felt tip (“9-10”) on the body of the instrument by Charlie Daniels.

In the display, the fiddle includes a bow as well as features a presentation plaque below an 8×10 color photo of the legend. Note, the strings on the bow are loose. This fiddle was presented to a Longhorn Steakhouse in 207 for their generous donation generated by the Charlie Daniels Golf Classic and Concert.

The instrument is sparkling gold, just like he used to play. A gold fiddle is mentioned in the iconic song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” The lyrics read, “I bet you didn’t know it, but I’m a fiddle player, too. And if you’d care to take a dare I’ll make a bet with you. Now you play a pretty good fiddle, boy, but give the Devil his due. I’ll bet a fiddle of gold against your soul ’cause I think I’m better than you.”

The display measures 23.5 x 28″ x 5″ (deep).

All displays are sold as is without warranty to the condition of the frame. Note, this is an oversized item that may incur an additional  shipping surcharge based on size/weight.
