1987 Patrick Nagel Bergen Galleries Artwork Exhibition Posters Lot of 3

Presented is a lot of (3) vintage exhibition posters, facsimile signed to the lower left, for an exhibition of Patrick Nagel’s handsome ladies at Bergen Galleries in New Orleans. The poster was published in ‘87 by Mirage Editions. Measures 24″ x 36″. The posters exemplify the artist’s oeuvre, a style of illustration that in many ways defined the eighties. The artist famously designed the album cover for Duran Duran’s 1982 hit record, “Rio.” In 1984 at the age of 38 he participated in a 15-minute celebrity aerobathon, after which he suffered a heart attack.
