1980 Foghat Tee Shirt Tight Shoes Tour Concert Vintage

Foghat is known for the use of electric slide guitar in their music. The band has achieved eight gold records, one platinum and one double platinum record, and despite several line-up changes, continue to record and perform. Tight Shoes is the ninth studio album by the classic rock band. It was released in 1980 on Bearsville Records. This was also the last release Rod Price participated on until 1994’s Return of the Boogie Men.

Presented is an original concert tour tee shirt from Foghat 1980 Tight Shoes. The shirt is vintage quarter sleeve and measures 15.5″ across the chest and the 26″ from top of seam to bottom. Vintage tagging is by Fantasy M single stitch on sleeves. Nice tour red shoes design on the front and Boogie Motel on back.

This lot is from the T-Shirt collection from the estate of Chuck Landis (aka Largo) veteran promoter, concert best known as co-founder of the Roxy West Hollywood rock club in the early 1970’s and in 1980.  Many of the T-Shirts come from performances that were at the venue.  They have been locked away for many until now. 

The Rox bar was a regular hangout for John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Alice Cooper and Keith Moon Heidi Fleiss in the 1980s.    So you can only imagine what stories can tell?
