NFL early to mid ’70’s game worn sideline capes were colorful – and player-unidentifiable. The Lions, Packers, Colts, 49ers, Giants  and Browns all showcased attractive creations.Handsomely crafted in a royal blue satin exterior and a quilted interior off white lining, the cape was loaded with extras, including oversized interior pockets, three button snaps, a zippered hood, and full-length body. The verso is complete with an  arched tackle twill  5-1/4” “L-I-O-N–S” print logo sewn in white satin. But the cape was probably used in following seasons by several different players. The collar sports an early ‘70s to mid 70s double tag Griswold  sporting goods inc Detroit Sand -Knit label.
