Tom Landry was the first head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL), a position he held for 29 seasons. During his coaching career, he created many new formations and methods, such as the now popular 4–3 defense, and the “flex defense” system made famous by the “Doomsday Defense” squads he built during his tenure with the Cowboys. His 29 consecutive years from 1960 to 1988 as the coach of one team is an NFL record, along with his 20 consecutive winning seasons, which is considered to be his most impressive professional accomplishment.

Behind Landry’s offense, Roger Staubach led the Cowboys to a second Super Bowl win in the 1977 season. He threw for 183 yards and a touchdown, with no interceptions, in Dallas’ 27–10 victory in Super Bowl XII over the Denver Broncos, led by his former teammate Morton. Staubach also led the Cowboys to appearances in Super Bowl X and Super Bowl XIII, where they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers both times by a total of eight points.

Presented is a 16×20 black and white classic Cowboys photo autographed by both Tom Landry and Roger Staubach. Both signed the photo in blue felt tip with Staubach’s being a bit lighter (“6”) than Landry’s (“8″). The display measures in at 21.5″ x 25”,
