Lucille Ball, a former Goldwyn girl who worked in more than 50 films, is best known for her role as “Lucy” in the classic series “I Love Lucy”.  In 1935, for RKO Studios, Lucille played a model in the film Roberto. This feather is one of the remaining pieces of the costume worn by Ms. Ball in that film. Roberto also starred Irene Dunn and featured the dance team of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The move became a catalyst toward bigger parts for Lucille, including the lead in Stage Door.

Experts were consulted to restore the full costume from the 1935 film Roberta which this feather came from. But there was not enough material to reconstruct it. So, in preservation this feather from the costume was kept in limited edition of 350 pieces via Toon Art. The display measures 13.5″ x 16.25″.
